Hi, my name is Geoff Roberts.
I've spent my career in operational roles, as the head of marketing at companies like Buildium, Roambi, and Bizness Apps while consulting with or advising a handful of other companies. I also was responsible for developing Springboard's Digital Marketing Career Track, a six month curriculum that's teaching the next generation of digital marketers.
SaaS Growth Strategy is a small consultancy I've founded, for three primary reasons...
1) I've found that the more companies that let me "look under the hood," the better I become in my full-time operational roles.
2) I've found that the companies I work with benefit from my experience as an operational VP of Marketing - I bring a deeper level of understanding of the SaaS business model and what it takes to grow a SaaS business than a typical agency relationship. Most of my clients are looking to add VP of Marketing level talent to their team in a part-time capacity, or I'm often brought on as a growth advisor that provides strategic advice, drives execution, and helps develop more junior team members.
